According to Sunday Mirror via HITC, Tottenham Hotspur are confident of signing Nigerian winger Paul Mukairu when the transfer window re-opens for business.
The 21-year-old was loaned out by Turkish club Antalyaspor to RSC Anderlecht for the 2020-2021 season and the Belgian giants have an option to make the move permanent.
Anderlecht intend to trigger the purchase option and sell him directly at a profit to an interested club in the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are not the only team battling to sign Mukairu as Villarreal and Bayer Leverkusen have also been credited with an interest.
The Bundesliga club are in the market for a winger as a possible sale of Leon Bailey could be on the cards in the summer.
Mukairu has directly participated in eight goals in 20 appearances for Anderlecht, fourteen of which he was named in the starting lineup.
