Chelsea loanee Victor Moses believes Spartak Moscow have done their homework and is confident that they can take all three points when they face off with Lokomotiv Moscow in a Russian Premier League clash at the RZD Arena on Sunday, starting from 1700 hours.
It sounds like a very ambitious target though, considering that Lokomotiv Moscow are the form team in the division, winning their last five league matches, so victory won't come on a platter of gold.
Spartak have collected twelve points from a possible fifteen since the resumption of the league, with their Nigerian star contributing to three goals.
"Lokomotiv Moscow on Sunday is an important game for us. We are going to take the game as other games that we have been playing like against Rostov and I'll say Dinamo," Moses said to Spartak Moscow's official YouTube channel.
"We want to take each game step by step and Sunday is going to be another huge game.
"Our main important focus for us now is to get the three points, we are going there with a strategy and we want to win the game.
"Players, manager, every single one of us has been working very hard in training, and hopefully we can bring what we have been doing in training to the game on Sunday".
In terms of the title race, Spartak Moscow are four points off FK Zenit St. Petersburg, who top the table, with six matches to the end of the 2020-2021 season.
