Watford made headlines over the weekend after coming from behind twice to register a 5-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
In 26 minutes of action, Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis made a difference after coming off the bench, assisting Joshua King score two goals before wrapping up the scoring in stoppage time.
It was the first Premier League game this season that he had to make do with a spot on the bench, having started the previous eight matches.
Juraj Kucka, with a header in the 78th minute, had made it 2-2, before King and Dennis combined to devastating effect to secure Watford's first win under new boss Claudio Ranieri.
William Troost-Ekong was delighted for King, Dennis and Kucka after they got on the scoresheet and highlighted the team spirit in the group.
"I’m so happy for Josh and all the boys that got on the scoresheet. Emmanuel Dennis starting on the bench, coming on and scoring," Troost-Ekong said to Watford's official website.
"It just shows what this team is about, there’s a real team spirit.
"We see the quality during the week. I’m really happy we showed it today, the travelling fans will have something to talk about on the way home so we’re happy for that as well."
Watford have moved six points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League table following their victory against the Toffees.
