Portsmouth have identified Anglo-Nigerian centre-forward Kion Etete as a priority signing in the summer transfer window.
According to The News, the Tottenham Hotspur starlet has moved to head of Portsmouth's striker targets and a permanent deal is being eyed by the League One club.
Pompey believe Etete could be available on a permanent basis, with his current contract expiring at the end of next season.
Tottenham Hotspur have to decide whether Portsmouth's proposed offer of 300, 000 pounds would be enough to sanction the sale of the striker.
Portsmouth have to battle for the 20-year-old's signature, with Millwall also credited with an interest in signing the former Notts County starlet.
According to a Tottenham Hotspur insider, Etete is on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the 2023 U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
