Anthony Ujah Targets Maximum Points In Remaining Games

On loan at Cologne until the end of the 2012 - 2013 campaign, Super Eagles invitee Anthony Ujah has remained modest after netting his 12th goal in the 2 Bundesliga against 1860 Munich this past weekend.

The ex Lillestrom hero, who joined Cologne just before the close of last summer's transfer window, looks to be enjoying his football again after struggling to tie down a regular place at top division Mainz.

Ujah told allnigeriasoccer.com: ''I have no specific goals target because my purpose of coming to Cologne is to get more playing time and get back to normal shape.

''The decision to come to Cologne happened on the last day of the transfer window as I thought I'll play in Mainz this season.

''I am glad this has turned out to be a good decision.''

The ambition of Cologne to gain promotion to Germany's top flight at the end of this season is no longer in their hands after they could only manage a 1 - 1 draw with 1860 Munich on Sunday.

They trail third on the table Kaiserslautern, who have played a game less, by one point.

''It was an unfortunate result for us as we needed the three points so bad, but this is football and it happens.

''At the moment it doesn't look good so we hope for nine points in the last three games.

''Also Kaiserslautern have to drop points for us to have a chance so we can keep our hopes alive,'' Ujah admitted.

By the way, there was an illustrious Nigerian guest at the RheinEnergieStadion to run the rule over Anthony Ujah.

Nigeria Under 20 coach John Sam Obuh, who is in Germany undergoing a refresher course, watched the striker in action.
