Chelsea Loanees Aina, Tomori Unhappy With Result Vs Reading
A late strike from substitute Böðvarsson denied Hull City all three points in the ninth round of matches in the EFL Championship at Madejski Stadium on Saturday evening.
Three Nigerian players Ola Aina, Fikayo Tomori (both Hull City) and Reading's record signing Sone Aluko started the game, while former Liverpool youngster Tiago Ilori was introduced in the 66th minute.
In their post-match reactions via social media, Aina and Tomori were disappointed that The Tigers could not pick up their third win of the season.
Ola Aina said : ''Not the result we wanted, but we'll build on it. Thank you to our fans that came down to support!🔸▪''
Defender Tomori, who came close to scoring his first professional goal on 85 minutes, commented : ''It's coming.. not the result we wanted, but a chance to get what we want on Tuesday.
''Thanks & safe trip to the fans who travelled downâ—¾ï¸ðŸ”¸.''
Aina and Tomori have been loaned out by Chelsea for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.
