Nigeria defender Danny Shittu says he is delighted to rejoin Championship side Millwall. The 31 - year - old signed a one - year deal at The Den on Monday.<br /><br />Shittu was quoted as saying by newsatden.co.uk : ''I am delighted to have signed for Millwall yesterday. I would like to thank Kenny Jackett and Andy Ambler.<br /><br />"I would also like to thank all the fans who have supported me throughout my times. It has been a challenging few seasons for me being at clubs where I was not given a chance by the respective managers.''<br /><br />Meanwhile, coach of Milwall, Kenny Jackett is pleased with the arrival of the bulky Nigerian central defender.<br /><br />He told the official website: ''I'm very pleased to add another experienced defender to the ranks. Danny has an excellent Championship pedigree and will make a contribution in ensuring we are defensively strong. ''<br /><br />The former Blackpool ace made his competitive debut for Millwall on Tuesday evening in the League Cup match against Hope Akpan's Crawley Town <br /><br />
