Friends of late soccer hero, Rashidi Yekini have rolled out their plans to organize a befitting 40-days prayer for the late<br />Super Eagles Striker on 13th June, 2012 at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Ibadan.<br /><br />Part of the lined-up activities as contained in a release signed by the solicitor/Attorney to Yekini who was also member of<br />the planning committee, Mohammed Jibril is a friendly football match between 3SC and Gateway FC of Abeokuta.<br /><br />The rationale behind the choice of the two clubs as contained in the release was that, the two teams were the first and<br />the last club-sides the late Rashidi Yekini played for in the southwest.<br /><br />The committee also stated to have secured the consent and agreement of some of Yekini&rsquo;s colleagues in the Super Eagles,<br />Government functionaries, Sports administrators and well wishers to witness the testimonial match in his honour.<br /><br />Other members of the &lsquo;Friends of Yekini&rsquo; that are organizing the event include Barrister Leye Adepoju, Oyo State Football<br />Association Chairman, Mohammed Jibril, counsel to Yekini, Dimeji Lawal, ex-international, Feyi Ogunduyile, media practitioner, Abiodun Yusuf and Gboyega Okegbenro, Chairman, Gateway FC. <br /><br /><i><b>Akanbi Agiri</b></i><br />
