Vit&oacute;ria Guimar&atilde;es have a Nigerian player undergoing trials presently, the former Nigeria youth - teamer Harmony Ikande, whose last club was Beitar Jerusalem.<br /><br />The official website of the Portuguese club disclosed that Ikande started tests with the <i>Conquerors</i> last Thursday. Ikande must convince coach Rui Vit&oacute;ria of his potentials before he is offered a contract. <br /><br />It would be recalled that Ikande was released by Beitar Jerusalem last April following disciplinary problems. Before then, the Nigerian was rotting away in the Reserve Team of the Israeli club.<br /><br />Reports in Portugal suggest the 21-year-old midfielder would be sent to the B Team if he is successful at trials. Harmony Ikande played for 45 minutes in Vit&oacute;ria Guimar&atilde;es's 1-1 draw with Feirense on Tuesday. <br /><br />Ikande is a globetrotter in football terms after spells in Italy, Spain, Hungary and Israel in a space of two years.<br /><br /><br /><br />&nbsp;<br /><br />
