The Super Eagles continued their preparations for the World Cup with their second training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Thursday morning, allnigeriasoccer.com is reporting.
After the usual exercises and stretches, manager Gernot Rohr put together two teams of eleven players each, one with bibs and the other wearing jerseys.
Team A who wore blue bibs contained : Awaziem, Omeruo, Eze, Idowu, Ebuehi, Agbo, Mikel Agu, Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Iheanacho and Ighalo
Team B had Aina, Balogun, Ekong, Echiejile, Etebo, Onazi, Joel Obi, Shehu Abdullahi, Lokosa, Simy and Iwobi.
Before the start of the training game, Ikechukwu Ezenwa was brought in as the goalkeeper while Ahmed Musa dropped to the sidelines as the substitute.
Team B had Uzoho as the goalkeeper with Abdullahi Shehu sent to the sidelines.
Crotone striker Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo scored with his first shot during the training game, chipping Ezenwa to score after a good through ball from midfield, before Iheanacho equalized for Team A thereby making the game to finish 1-1.
After the water break, Ighalo was replaced by Shehu and goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi took the place of Ezenwa while Ajiboye subbed in for Uzoho.
