MLS Player BRIGHT DIKE Handed Late Nigeria Call- Up

Chinedu Bright Dike, 25, has been invited by Eagles gaffer Stephen Keshi for the exhibition match against Venezuela in Miami, Florida on Wednesday.<br /><br />Three players earlier invited&nbsp; - Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Onyekachi Apam - have withdrawn from the squad, hence the late invitation of the Portland Timbers forward.<br /><br />Portland Timbers have confirmed that Bright Dike has been handed a late call - up to the Nigeria squad.<br /><br />''The Portland Timbers today announced that forward Bright Dike has been called into camp with the Nigeria National Team for a friendly against Venezuela on Wednesday in Miami, Fla. It is his first national team call-up at any level.<br /><br />''Dike, whose parents were born in Nigeria, will join the Nigeria National Team on Sunday in preparation for the friendly.
