Official: AUSTIN EJIDE Signs Two-Year Deal With Hapoel Be'er Sheva
Back up goalkeeper in the Nigeria set up, Austin Ejide landed in Israel on Thursday, and has officially signed a contract with Toto League side Hapoel Be'er Sheva after undergoing physical tests.<br /><br />Ejide, 28, had been offered a two-year contract, with an option for an additional season, with <i>The Camels</i>, but national team duties with the Nigeria selection prevented him from formalizing the contract.<br /><br />Hours after Nigeria defeated Namibia by 1-0, the ex Gabros International custodian called officials of relegated Hapoel Petah Tikva, his former club, telling them of his decision of not continuing with them for the 2012 - 2013 season.<br /><br />Ejide had been on the radar of Maccabi Petah Tikva, and teams in Europe before putting pen to paper on the 2-year contract with Hapoel Be'er Sheva.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
