Peru Coach Names Starting Eleven To Face Nigeria, Three Musketeers Start!

Peru coach Sergio Markarian has announced his starting eleven to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria today at the 50, 000 capacity Estadio Nacional, Lima by 8pm local time.<br /><br />Sergio Markarian, who is under pressure from the Press and public to win against Nigeria, will unleash his three musketeers against the Super Eagles defense.<br /><br />An exciting offensive trident will see Paolo Guerrero(<span class="st">Hamburger SV)</span>, Claudio Pizarro (Werder Bremen) and Jefferson Farf&aacute;n (Schalke 04)on the field from the blast of the whistle. <br /><br />Ra&uacute;l Fern&aacute;ndez (from Nice), Juan Manuel Vargas (Fiorentina), Rinaldo Cruzado (Chievo Verona), Renzo Sheput (Sporting Cristal) and Carlos Zambrano (Saint Pauli) won't play against Nigeria. They are injured, but Markari&aacute;n hopes to include these players against Colombia. <br /><br />On Tuesday, Markari&aacute;n revealed the initial squad, full of attacking talent: Diego Penny (goalkeeper); Renzo Revoredo (right defender), Christian Ramos (centre-back), Jhon Galliquio (centre-back) and Yoshimar Yotun (left defender);Antonio Gonzales (centre-midfielder), Carlos Lobat&oacute;n (centre-midfielder), Jefferson Farf&aacute;n (right midfielder) and Roberto Palacios (left midfielder); Paolo Guerrero and Claudio Pizarro(attack).<br /><br />Included in the Peru line-up is midfielder Roberto Palacios (39 years old). This match will be Palacios' last match as an international player.&nbsp; Palacios was a star in Peru many years ago. <br /><br />When Palacios leaves the field, Luis 'Cachito' Ram&iacute;rez would be his replacement.
