Skipper Musa Mohammed Apologizes To Nigerians For Loss To Brazil
Published: June 02, 2015
Nigeria U20s skipper Musa Mohammed has apologized to Nigerians for the Flying Eagles dismal outing against Brazil on Monday.
Believe it or not, the African champions are in a tight corner and a loss against North Korea in two days will send them out of the tournament in New Zealand even before their last group fixture against Hungary.
““We wish to apologize to Nigerians that we lost to Brazil, but we will make it up against North Korea. We will win on Thursday,” said skipper Mohammed to thenff.com.
“We have spoken to ourselves and you will see the result in our next game.”
Isaac Success and Ifeanyi Mathew are racing against the clock to be fit for the clash against the Asians.
While the Granada striker has a hamstring complaint, the midfielder sustained a left foot injury against Brazil.
