36 Lions Academy midfielder <span style="">Sodiq Saliu has arrived Belgium to begin tests with Standard Liege. The 17-year-old could join his friend and compatriot Imoh Ezekiel at the 10-time Belgium champions.<br /><br />It would be recalled that Ezekiel initially joined Standard on loan in the winter transfer market. At the end of the season, he was offered a permanent contract by the club's management.<br /><br />Saliu will train with the Under 21 squad of Standard Liege for several months, and will be signed on a permanent basis if he impresses during that spell. <br /><br />Standard Liege are one of the traditional sides in Belgium. They have won 21 titles since the inception of the club in 1898.<br /></span>
