Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen are reportedly closing in on a deal for Houston Dynamo's English-Nigerian attacker Toyosi Olusanya.
According to Sky Sports UK, the 28-year-old is set to travel to Scotland to undergo a medical with the Scottish Cup holders.
The former Saints attacker scored 19 goals in 85 appearances for the Paisley club before joining MLS side Houston Dynamo in April 2025.
Olusanya struggled for playing opportunities following his arrival at Houston Dynamo, logging 52 minutes across six games in the American top-flight.
In search of adequate game time, he was loaned out to League One club Doncaster Rovers, where he made eleven appearances in all competitions without registering a goal or an assist.
Aberdeen and Houston Dynamo are on the verge of agreeing a loan deal that would see Olusanya spend the remainder of the season at the Scottish Premiership club.
The forward remains under contract with Houston until June 2026, with club options extending through 2028.
Olusanya began his professional career at AFC Wimbledon, and also lists Walton Casuals, Fleet Town, Gosport Borough, Cheshunt, Billericay Town, Middlesbrough, St Mirren and Arbroath as his previous clubs.
