Nigeria international Alex Iwobi will no longer feature for the Under-21 team of Arsenal, as he has been officially promoted to their first-team. <br /><br />The Gunners manager, Arsene Wenger, announced ahead of Sunday afternoon&rsquo;s Premier League clash with Leicester City that he won&rsquo;t be loaning out the forward before the end of this season, with the emergency loan window opening for business three days ago.<br /><br />Jeorge Bird has reported that Iwobi will keep his number 45 jersey for the rest of this campaign but will be allocated a lower squad number before the start of next season.<br /><br />The 19-year-old has featured in every single competition for the Gunners this season- the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup, racking up eight appearances in the process.<br /><br />Having extended his contract in October 2015, the Hale End Academy product is now tied to Arsenal until summer of 2020.<br /><br /><br />
