Newly-promoted Swedish Allsvenskan club &ouml;stersunds FK have announced the signing of former Nigeria U20 international Alhaji Gero.<br /><br />The financial terms and duration of contract were not disclosed by the J&auml;mtkraft Arena outfit but the player has informed <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b> that he signed a deal until the end of the 2019 season.<br /><br />The attacker most recently defended the colours of&nbsp; Viborg but reached an agreement to terminate his contract with the Danish Superliga side by mutual consent last weekend.<br /><br />After the transfer was completed, Gero told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b> : &ldquo;I have signed for &ouml;stersunds FK because I want to develop as a player and to be able to do that I needed more playing time and I could not get that from Viborg.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;So we decided to go apart. I chose &ouml;stersund because I like the way they play and I believe that I can achieve more as a football player here with them.&rdquo;<br /><br />For the upcoming season, the former Enugu Rangers and &ouml;sters IF striker has been handed the number 18 kit by &ouml;stersunds FK.
