Anthony Ujah came off the bench to score the only goal as Cologne defeated Werder Bremen 1 - 0 in the German Bundesliga on Friday night. <br /><br />It was an inspired substitution by manager Peter Stoger, with the Nigeria international spending 68 seconds on the pitch before he grabbed the match winner in the 59th minute.<br /><br />Ujah will be hoping that his strike against Bremen has sent the right message to the coach after failing to start in the league since the 2 - 0 loss to champions Bayern Munich late September.<br /><br />His other goal in the topflight this term was scored against Stuttgart on August 30.<br /><br />The prolific marksman has totaled 55 goals in 118 appearances for the teams he has appeared for - Lillestrom, Mainz and Cologne. <br />
