Iwobi, brought back into the starting lineup today from the 1-1 draw with Liverpool, wanted a penalty after being clattered by Ryan Bennett in the box. Referee Stuart Attwell saw nothing in it, though, and a goal-kick was instead awarded.
There was some piece of positivity from Arsenal down the right, culminating in Iwobi getting in behind, but the offside flag wrongly went up for offside as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Wolves.
Wolverhampton Wanderers got us back underway at the Emirates Stadium, where there was news of a half-time change. Alex Iwobi was replaced by Matteo Guendouzi.
The good news for Arsenal fans was that their side created two chances. The bad news was that both of them were missed, including a sitter from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who flicked the ball against the post when picked out by Hector Bellerin in the middle.
Arsenal were back on level terms with just a few minutes to play here. Aaron Ramsey had a shot kept out by Rui Patricio but, from the resulting corner, the ball was worked to Henrikh Mkhitaryan and his intended cross went right the way through.
