Flying Eagles-eligible winger Henry Timi Davies has sustained an injury that will keep him away from the pitch for several months.
The Arsenal U21 star has had an unfortunate start to the season, having suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Davies' surgery on the ACL injury went well and he's expected to begin his rehabilitation in the coming weeks.
Former Manchester City schoolboy Timi Davies arrived at Arsenal in March 2021 with a huge reputation but injuries have slowed down his progress, having made only two appearances in the U18 Premier League.
His other appearances were against West Ham United and Newcastle United in the U18 Premier League Cup, taking his total appearances for the Gunners youth teams to four.
The 18-year-old was called up for the Premier League 2 clash against Derby County in January 2022 but was a non-playing substitute.
Davies has been described as a powerful and direct winger who is able to play as a wingback.
