According to the official website of AZAL, the leadership of the club has started negotiations with Nigerian forward Victor Igbekoyi regarding a new deal. <br /><br />The contract of the 27 - year - old expires this summer and AZAL want to tie him down by offering him fresh terms.<br /><br />For the past five seasons, Victor Igbekoyi has been on the payroll of the Pilots , and during that time, he netted 21 goals in 133 Premier League appearances.<br /><br />In the just concluded season, he was the second top scorer at the capital side, two goals short of Nigerian midfielder William John.<br /><br />AZAL narrowly escaped the drop in the 2013 - 2014 campaign, and are close to severing ties with at least 9 players.<br />
