Through their official website, Brighton & Hove Albion WFC have announced that they have completed the signing of Nigeria international Ini Umotong.

The 23-year-old is joining The Seagulls from fellow FA Women's Super League 2 side Oxford United.

Born in Calabar to Nigerian parents, Umotong started off her career with Birmingham City before moving to Aston Villa and Wright State Raiders.

Impressive performances for Portsmouth earned her a move to Oxford United and a maiden call-up to the Nigerian Women's national team, the Super Falcons.

Ini Umotong was the FAWSL 2 top scorer in 2016, after finding the net 13 times from 19 appearances.
