Super Eagles' 2025 Africa Cup of Nations star Raphael Onyedika is strongly linked with a move to German Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, a few days before the winter transfer window closes for business.
According to Sky Sport Germany reporter Patrick Berger, Wolfsburg are exploring ways to sign Onyedika and discussions with Club Brugge are ongoing and no final decision has been made.
The midfielder was keen on a Bundesliga move last summer amid strong interest from Eintracht Frankfurt, and Wolfsburg have now entered the race with sporting director Pirmin Schwegler involved in the process.
With less than one and a half years left on his contract, the FC Ebedei product is valued at slightly over 20 million euros (approximately NN33 billion in Nigerian currency).
Aston Villa were linked with Onyedika during the Africa Cup of Nations, but interest from the Premier League club appears to have cooled for now.
The 24-year-old joined Club Brugge from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2022 and has since featured in 167 matches, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
Onyedika impressed at the Africa Cup of Nations, with his standout performance coming in the group stage against Uganda, where he earned the Man of the Match award after scoring his first international brace.
