The young Nigerian striker Chuba Akpom could go on loan in the January transfer window.<br /><br />According to the <i>Mirror</i>, the Gunners are choosing the best option to help the England U21 international recover from a back injury, and have sanctioned his departure from the Emirates in the winter transfer market.<br /><br />Championship trio Cardiff, Fulham and Brentford are interested in signing the Hale End Academy product.<br /><br />Akpom previously had loan spells with Hull City, Brentford, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest.<br /><br />His only appearance for the first team of Arsenal this season was against Nottingham Forest in the third round of the League Cup.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : arsenal.com<br />
