Charlton Athletic GK Suffers Training Ground Injury At Nigeria U17s Camp
Charlton Athletic shot-stopper Edward Ogbebor-Onaiwu can only resume goalkeeping duties at the Golden Eaglets get-together in Abuja next week after picking up an injury in his first training session with the team on Monday.<br /><br /><b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that Ogbebor-Onaiwu’s finger popped out of place when a player trod on it.<br /><br />Coach Manu Garba was due to run the rule over the 15-year-old in a practice game on Wednesday, but he has been ruled out of the scrimmage because of his swollen finger.<br /><br />The Addicks youth-teamer will remain with the squad nonetheless, maintaining his fitness by stretching and running and will also be involved in possession drills but will not be in between the pipes.<br /><br />Another foreign-based youngster, who plays in Germany, is only training with the Golden Eaglets team while on holiday and has no plans to be part of the camp at the moment.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
