Chelsea Striker Aluko Named In England Squad To Face Belgium,Bosnia
Chelsea striker Eniola Aluko has been named by manager Mark Sampson in the England squad for the forthcoming Euro 2017 Qualifiers. <br /><br />The Three Lionesses square off against Belgium at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, Rotherham on Friday,April 8 before facing Bosnia & Herzegovina at the NFSBiH Training Centre four days later.<br /><br />The Lagos-born Aluko, 29, is one of the six strikers invited to the get-together and will compete with Karen Carney (Chelsea), Gemma Davison (Chelsea), Toni Duggan (Manchester City), Fran Kirby (Chelsea) and Ellen White (Notts County) for a starting shirt in attack.<br /><br />On March 9, 2016, she earned her 100th England cap in the goalless draw with France in the inaugural SheBelieves Cup.<br /><br />Aluko scored for Chelsea in her first game of the new Women’s Super League against Doncaster Belles on March 24.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br /><span class="body1"><span class="body1">Photo Credit : fifa.com</span></span><br />
