Chelsea's Ivory Coast International Midfielder Joins Sassuolo, Subject To Medical

Chelsea are reportedly set to cash in on Ivorian midfielder, Jeremie Boga as his move to Italian club, Sassuolo is almost close to completion.

Chelsea news correspondent, Nizaar Kinsella has tweeted that the player is having a medical in Milan ahead of his move to the Black and Green outfit.

According to Kinsella, Chelsea have inserted a buy-back clause in the transfer and the fee involved is reported to be in the region of £4 million.

Since joining Chelsea from ASPTT Marseille back in 2009, Boga has spent a larger portion of his time playing away on loan for clubs which includes Granada, Birmingham City and Rennes and has made just one league appearance for the Blues.

During his stint with Championship club, Birmingham last season, the 21-year old contributed five goals (2 goals, 3 assists) from 31 league games.
