It was earlier reported that substantive Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo was fined US$10,000 for arriving late to training.<br /><br />Sports daily Complete Sports has been doing some digging and now writes on its website that those reports which emanated from the Turkish media are far from reality.<br /><br />&ldquo;It was embarrassing for me to read that I was fined for reporting late to training when such never happened,&rdquo; Yobo told the newspaper.<br /><br />Adding to his previous statement, the 33 - year - old Fenerbahce center back said: <br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m fully fit and ready to play but I&rsquo;ve been warned to be careful about my return to action since there are still lots of games to beplayed in the season.&rdquo;<br /><br />Joseph Yobo has been frozen out of the Nigeria squad since the African Cup of Nations, after a well publicized dispute with manager Stephen Keshi. <br /><br />Photo Credit : tff.org
