With a statement on the official website, 11-time Danish champions Brondby have announced the signing of Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis.
The forward has ended his search for a new club following his release by Premier League side Nottingham Forest in August 2025.
After impressing during Brondby's training camp, Dennis has signed a contract that runs until the summer of 2028.
The 28-year-old is currently in England to finalise his residence and work permit and will join Brondby once the paperwork is approved, a process the club expects to continue into February.
Dennis has been inactive since featuring for the final seven minutes of Blackburn Rovers' 1-1 draw at Sheffield United on the last day of the 2024-25 season.
His other clubs include Zorya Luhansk, Club Brugge, FC Cologne, Istanbul Basaksehir and Watford.
Speaking on his transfer to Brondby, Dennis told the club's official website: "I am very happy to have signed with the club. I have seen video clips of the fans. They have a lot of energy, and so do I. I really appreciate the club giving me this opportunity and I am very excited to get started. Hopefully we will achieve great things together."
He continued: "The first week with the boys was fantastic. We found chemistry really quickly. They welcomed me so well that it felt like we had known each other for years. I could feel the love right away, and that made it even more attractive to me.
"Everyone was so nice and helpful, and I can't wait to play on the same team as them, says our new offensive ace."
For the remainder of the 2025-2026 season, Dennis has been allocated the number 7 jersey at Brondby.
