Bayern Leverkusen coach Kasper Hjulmand has confirmed that Nigerian forward Nathan Tella will miss his team’s Bundesliga match against FC St. Pauli this Saturday. 

Speaking at a pre‑match press conference, Hjulmand stated that Tella, along with goalkeeper Mark Flekken and forward Eliesse Ben Seghir, will remain unavailable for the upcoming fixture, according to a report on the club’s official website.

Tella has been sidelined since sustaining a foot injury in mid‑January, leaving a noticeable gap in Leverkusen’s attacking options.

The club had previously announced that both Tella and Flekken would be unable to play for an extended period following injuries sustained during Leverkusen’s 1‑0 defeat to Hoffenheim.

Despite ongoing rehabilitation, no definitive timeline has been provided for the Nigerian forward’s return, keeping fans eagerly awaiting updates on his fitness.
