Chelsea are on the verge of signing Roma's Italian-Brazilian left-back Emerson Palmieri, according to reports.
Transfer market experts Tuttomercatoweb.com have just reported that the agent of the player has arrived in the English capital to finalize the transfer of the defender.
Chelsea have proposed to pay 20 million euros for the services of Emerson, while the Giallorossi are negotiating a five million euros bonus and want the transfer fee to be paid immediately.
The former Santos starlet would receive wages of € 2.5 million per season if his switch to the Blues materializes.
Antonio Conte is also trying to recruit Emerson's Roma teammate Edin Dzeko.
Emerson Palmieri is contracted to AS Roma until June 30, 2021.
