The former England youth international has been loaned out to Rochdale until January 2021 and will be aiming to make his professional debut in the coming weeks.
Bola, a key player for Arsenal U23s, was an unused substitute when the Gunners faced Nottingham Forest in the League Cup in September 2019 and has trained with the first team on countless occasions.
In his first words after the deal was confirmed, Bola said : "I’m pleased to be here and can’t wait to get going.
"There has been talks for a couple of weeks and I’m just happy it got over the line and I can start the hard work.
"I’ve spoken a lot with Brian Barry-Murphy and the coaching staff. It’s really good to hear his ideas and I think we can have a successful season this year".
London-born Bola has been handed the number 3 jersey at Rochdale.
