Through the official website, Swedish Damallsvenskan champions BK Häcken have officially announced the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Halimatu Ayinde as the club strengthens the squad ahead of the 2026 season and upcoming European competitions.
The Kaduna-born midfielder began her career in Sweden in 2018 after playing in the United States and Belarus.
She spent several seasons with Asarum and Eskilstuna before moving to FC Rosengård in the summer of 2022.
During her time at Rosengård, the midfielder contributed to the team’s success, winning SM gold in 2022 and 2024.
In the previous season, she demonstrated her versatility by playing in multiple positions to help the team secure its league status. BK Häcken has now finalized her contract beyond 2026.
