West Ham will not activate the option to acquire former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike from Fenerbahce following the expiration of the loan agreement between the parties.<br /><br />According to Turkish Sports daily <i>Fanatik</i>, the attacker will have to return to the Yellow Canaries and see what the future holds.<br /><br />Emenike failed to impress while at the Hammers for the second part of the 2015-2016 season, netting only two goals in sixteen appearances across all competitions.<br /><br />A departure from Fenerbah&ccedil;e remains a possibility when the window reopens, as his relationship with the fans is far from cordial.<br /><br />He is contracted to the Istanbul club until June 30, 2018.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : fenerbahce.org<br />
