The Super Eagles of Nigeria have received encouraging fitness updates as preparations continue ahead of their semi-final clash at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Positive developments have emerged regarding the condition of defender Ryan Alebiosu and team captain Wilfred Ndidi.
Ryan Alebiosu continues to make steady progress in his recovery.
The defender remains on a structured rehabilitation programme, with his fitness levels showing ongoing improvement.
The medical team is closely monitoring his progress as he works towards full readiness, offering reassurance within the squad as preparations for the semi-final advance.
Wilfred Ndidi has also shown positive signs of recovery following the hamstring strain he sustained against Algeria.
The midfielder is now walking pain free, indicating the injury may not be as serious as initially feared.
Despite this improvement, Ndidi is not eligible to feature in the semi-final against Morocco due to bookings received in the previous stage of the tournament.
The Super Eagles will be aiming to maintain their flawless run in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when they take on hosts Morocco on Wednesday, January 14, for a place in the final.
