English-Born Nigerian Striker, Messi & Neymar Fail To Make Cut As Fifa Announce Three Contenders For Puskas Award

After being shortlisted among ten candidates, West Brom striker Hal Robson-Kanu has been omitted from the three-player shortlist for the FIFA Pusk&aacute;s Award.<br /><br />Marlone, Daniuska Rodriguez and Mohd Faiz Subri are the contenders for the prize of the best goal of the year.<br /><br />Robson-Kanu&rsquo;s wonder goal while defending the colours of Wales against Belgium at the 2016 European Championship had been in the running for the award.<br /><br />The former Reading star was nominated alongside Barcelona pair&nbsp; Lionel Messi and Neymar .<br /><br />Goals scored in the period from 30 September 2015 to 30 September 2016 were taken into account.
