One of the pressing questions heading into the summer transfer window is where Nigeria international Victor Osimhen should go next.
Osimhen is enjoying another outstanding campaign in Turkey, directly contributing to 28 goals (20 goals and 8 assists) in 32 all-competition appearances for champions-elect Galatasaray.
His consistent performances underline his status as one of Europe's most reliable forwards.
The 27-year-old has already demonstrated his pedigree across multiple top leagues, having delivered in Ligue 1, Serie A and now the Süper Lig.
With both Barcelona and Bayern Munich planning for life beyond prolific forwards Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane, Osimhen has emerged as a prime candidate to lead their next attacking era.
In terms of attributes, the former African Footballer of the Year offers a complete package — blistering pace in behind defences, sharp instincts inside the penalty area, and a commanding aerial and physical presence that makes him a constant threat.
Arsenal have also been strongly linked with Osimhen, and the presence of England internationals of Nigerian descent Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze could ease his transition to the Premier League.
Weighing in on the debate, Nico Cantor suggested that a move to North London would make considerable sense.
"It's not a bad shout. You spend all this money on Viktor Gyökeres and you're still debating who is the better fit: Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyökeres or Gabriel Jesus," Cantor said on CBS Sports Golazo's Numbers Don't Lie.
"But Viktor Gyökeres has, of late, started to pick it up. Andrea Berta was in Turkey watching Victor Osimhen."
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a permanent deal last summer, signing a contract until June 30, 2029.
