Etebo Off To Portugal For Pre-Season; Joins Nigeria U23s 11 Days Before Japan Tie

<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com </b>has been informed that Oghenekaro Etebo will jet out to Portugal from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos in the early hours of Friday morning to resume pre-season training at <span>CD Feirense.<br /><br />After spending his holiday in Nigeria, the attacking midfielder would have joined the </span>Portuguese club earlier than now but was only issued his traveling document by the Portuguese embassy in Abuja on Monday, July 4.<br /><br />In line with the invitation letter sent by the Nigeria Football Federation to <span>CD Feirense, Etebo is expected to join the Dream Team VI in the United States on July 24 before proceeding to Brazil five days later.<br /><br />The former Warri Wolves star assisted </span><span>CD Feirense clinch promotion to the Primeira Liga at the end of last season, scoring one goal and notching two assists in four appearances in the second-tier.<br /><br />The 20-year-old is in good condition fitness-wise having trained with the Nigeria U23s before their trip to Atlanta, USA for a get-together ahead of the Olympics. <br /></span><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br /><br />
