Everton have submitted an official loan proposal to Chelsea for winger Tyrique George, including an option to buy, according to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Premier League club is reportedly leading the race for the highly rated forward, with talks ongoing amid interest from multiple clubs.
Tyrique George, born in London, is eligible to represent three national teams.
He can play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria through his father, the Black Stars of Ghana through his mother, or England, the country of his birth.
George has represented England at various youth levels, including U16, U17, U18, U19, and U21, and is currently inclined to continue his international career with England.
George remains under contract at Chelsea until June 2027. He was strongly linked with a move to Fulham during the last summer transfer window, though the deal ultimately did not materialize.
Everton’s proposal to Chelsea signals the club’s interest in acquiring the winger for the upcoming season, with the option to make the move permanent if both parties reach an agreement.
Talks between the two clubs are ongoing, with Everton seeking to secure George’s services amid competition from other interested teams.
As negotiations continue, George’s future will be closely monitored by Chelsea, Everton, and other clubs pursuing a deal for the winger before the transfer window progresses.
