Former Arsenal U23 skipper Semi Ajayi has hailed the qualities of Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo.
In a recent Instagram Live conversation, the West Brom central defender was asked to name his ideal starting lineup containing the players he has played with his career and he picked Ighalo to lead the line ahead of Lille's Victor Osimhen.
Ajayi noted that Ighalo scored plenty of goals in his last season as a Nigeria international, including five netted at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt which saw him winning the Golden Boot award.
"Upfront it is between Ighalo and Osimhen. I am probably going to have to say Ighalo just because my first season in the Super Eagles I think he played eight games and scored seven goals (13 games, 12 goals ed),'' Ajayi stated.
"His numbers are high, every game he's bagging. Ridiculous.
"He's got everything, he's got enough pace to run in behind, holdup man, strong, penalties, finisher and he's a good leader in the changing room."
Ighalo, who is on loan at Manchester United from Shanghai Shenhua, has tallied four goals in his first three starts for the Old Trafford side.
