Chinese Super League team Shanghai SIPG are eyeing Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel, 29.<br /><br />The holding midfielder could leave Chelsea before the end of his contract in June, as the Blues would want to recoup a portion of their previous investment on the player.<br /><br />The Daily Mirror has reported that ex-Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas wants to work again with Mikel whom he coached during his brief spell at Stamford Bridge in the 2011-2012 season.<br /><br />Villas-Boas replaced Sven-Goran Eriksson recently at Shanghai SIP and plans to overhaul the squad, with Mikel one of his primary targets. <br /><br />Marseille are the other team monitoring the transfer situation of the former Lyn Oslo starlet. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
