Former Racing Genk assistant manager Rudi Cossey has predicted that Wilfred Ndidi will play for a big club in the near future.
January 3 will make it five years Leicester City acquired the Nigeria international from Racing Genk and the holding midfielder is now six games away from reaching a milestone of 200 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes.
Ndidi is the engine room of the Foxes team and his ability to make
tackles from all angles without picking up many yellow cards is
remarkable.
The 25-year-old has positional discipline, calm under pressure and has an excellent reading of the game.
Ndidi has been linked with possible moves to Manchester United and Real Madrid but it is understood that he will be staying put at Leicester City until at least next summer.
"He is going to play for a big club, without a doubt. He is a great boy, always smiling and always hardworking," Cossey said to La Dernière Heure.
"He really did everything he could to quickly settle in Genk and grew into a strong holder in no time. That transfer to England was doubly deserved.
"He has what it takes to succeed. A great team player, gets along well with everyone."
Ndidi has two years and six months left on his contract with Leicester City and is valued at 60 million euros by Transfermarkt.
