Ex New Nigeria Bank Goalie Wilfred Agbonavbare Loses Battle With Cancer

Retired Nigeria international Wilfred Agbonavbare died on Tuesday morning at the age of 48 after suffering from cancer.<br /><br />The former Rayo Vallecano goalie was admitted at the <span style="" class="notranslate">Prince of Asturias Hospital in Alcal&aacute; de Henares, and his last wish before he died was to see his three children.<br /><br />And despite the efforts of Rayo official, who contacted the Spanish embassy to fast-track their visa applications, they did not arrive Spain before he departed this sinful world to the great beyond.<br /></span><span style="" class="notranslate"><br /></span><span style="" class="notranslate">&ldquo;The Stingray is in mourning.
