Exciting Winger Shodipo Shines On Debut For Queens Park Rangers
Queens Park Rangers made a winning start to the new Football League
Championship season with a 3-0 rout of Leeds United at the Loftus Road
Stadium on Sunday afternoon.<br /><br />As for team news, two players of
Nigerian descent in the shape of skipper Nedum Onuoha and Olamide
Shodipo made the starting XI of the London team. <br /><br />Having impressed
at pre-season, Shodipo, 19, has been drafted into the first team, and
was handed his competitive debut by manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink
against the team from <span>West Yorkshire.<br /><br />Ex-City defender
Onuoha opened scoring after four minutes, bundling the ball home after
Caulker and Gladwin had their shots blocked, and would have put his team
