<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> has been informed that Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors are working on a deal to sign Dream Team VI star Chizoba Amaefule.<br /><br />The former Dolphins and Al-Markhiya SC man is among the players training with the Abia Warriors squad at their get-together in Omoku, Rivers State ahead of their season opener against Ikorodu United.<br /><br />If Amaefule can agree personal terms with the Umuahia-based club, he is expected to append his signature to a one-year contract.<br /><br />The 21-year-old has been a long-term target for Abia Warriors, with the club missing out on his signature prior to his switch to Al-Markhiya SC in January 2015.<br /><br />The Nigeria Under-23 international, who is a free agent, earlier stated that he would not turn down a move to Abia Warriors and Heartland.<br /><br /><b>Editor</b><br /><br /><br />
