Fanendo Adi&rsquo;s agent has reacted to speculation linking the Portland Timbers striker with a transfer to Scottish Premiership newcomers Rangers in the summer.<br /><br />It is correct that <i>The Teddy Bears</i> recently sent some of their trusted scouts to run the rule over the Nigerian striker, but a deal is not in the offing for the simple reason that the club can&rsquo;t afford his $5 million transfer fee not to talk of his wages.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes, it is correct that Adi was scouted by Rangers but I don&rsquo;t think they can pay his big transfer fee and the league is not so attractive like the Premier League, &rdquo; Adi&rsquo;s representative told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />&ldquo;Anyway there is nothing concrete at the moment.
