On Thursday morning, Football's governing body, Fifa released its monthly ranking of national teams. The Super Eagles are now ranked in the 35th position.<br /><br />Compared to last month's ranking, Nigeria, who are the 5th best team in Africa, did not make any progress or decline.<br /><br />World Cup qualifying group opponents Malawi, Kenya and Namibia are ranked 118th, 129th and 131st respectively . <br /><br />In the continental ranking, the Flames are ranked 33rd,&nbsp; Harambee Stars are placed 36th while the Brave Warriors are 37th.<br /><br />European and World champions Spain continue to top the ranking followed by Germany, Colombia and Argentina.<br /><br />In that order, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mali and Algeria are the top four teams in Africa.<br /><br />The next Fifa Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on September 12 , 2013.<br /><br />
