The Nigeria Football Federation unveiled on Friday evening the twenty-three players that will have the honour of defending the colours of the country at the 2019 Women's World Cup in France.
Barcelona striker Asisat Oshoala is the headline name on the roster while Brighton & Hove's Ini Umotong, Swedish-based Josephine Chukwunonye, Ferencvaros Torna's Cecilia Nku and goalkeeper Christy Ohiaeriaku are no longer in the mix after they were dropped by manager Thomas Dennerby.
The squad contained three goalkeepers, five defenders, six midfielders and nine attackers.
Other high profile names traveling to France include : Desire Oparanozie, Ngozi Okobi, Onome Ebi, Francisca Ordega and Rita Chikwelu.
In the group stage, Nigeria will face Norway (June 8), South Korea (June 12) and France (June 17).
