Super Eagles dazzler Samuel Chukwueze is enjoying a new lease of life at Premier League side Fulham, having rediscovered his confidence after a difficult period for form and minutes at Italian giants AC Milan.
The 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup winner has recorded five goal contributions — two goals and three assists — in his last six Premier League appearances, a clear indication that he is operating close to his brilliant best once again.
Chukwueze arrived at Craven Cottage on deadline day, with Fulham securing an option to make the deal permanent.
According to Calciomercato, that option has been set at €28 million, approximately ₦47.2 billion.
Should the Cottagers opt to trigger the clause, the former Villarreal prodigy would become the fifth-costliest signing in the club's history, behind Kevin, Emile Smith Rowe, Jean Michaël Seri and Joachim Andersen.
While Fulham have yet to make a final decision on a full deal, the Nigeria international has drawn widespread praise for his recent displays.
He was voted Royal Caribbean Legend of the Match after providing the game-winning assist against Sunderland, and later claimed Premier League Player of the Match honours following another assist in the victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Chukwueze will enter the final two years of his AC Milan contract at the end of the current campaign.
